Loeffler: Judge Amy Coney Barrett is a Shining Example for Women Across the Country
Kicks Off Concerned Women for America’s Bus Tour Supporting Judge Barrett in Marietta
MARIETTA, Ga. – U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) today kicked off the 12-state “Women for Amy” Bus Tour, led by Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, urging support for President Trump’s nominee to the United States Supreme Court.
Loeffler joined Concerned Women for America CEO and President Penny Young Nance at the event to encourage conservative women to support the confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on the nomination begin next week on October 12.
“I was honored to join Concerned Women for America in Marietta today for the first stop of its grassroots bus tour in support of Judge Amy Coney Barrett,” said Senator Loeffler. “Alongside strong women and girls who are fighting for our country, we celebrated Judge Barrett’s success as a wife, mother, scholar and an accomplished jurist. She is a shining example not only for her own four daughters, but millions of girls and women across the country. President Trump made a great choice, and I cannot wait to confirm Amy Coney Barrett as the next female United States Supreme Court associate justice.”
“Senator Kelly Loeffler is standing for the values of conservative women in Congress,” said Penny Young Nance, CEO and President of Concerned Women for America. “She is championing our cause to protect life, to preserve the status of women and the rights of female athletes, and to confirm constitutionalist judges like Amy Coney Barrett. Amy Coney Barrett represents, not only the best of the legal profession, but the best of America. She is the sort of role model we want for our daughters.”
