Loeffler Announces Paul Fitzpatrick as Deputy Chief of Staff
Fitzpatrick has been chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows for past five years
WASHINGTON, D.C. –U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., today announced that Paul Fitzpatrick will be her deputy chief of staff. Fitzpatrick has been chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., for the past five years.
Fitzpatrick will be based in Washington and will join Loeffler’s chief of staff Joan Carr and state director Sydne Smith in managing staff and operations in DC and Georgia.
“I am thrilled to have Paul join the leadership team for my Senate office. Paul brings a wealth of experience and strong relationships from his time in Congressman Meadows’ office and outside the Hill. He will help ensure that our office remains focused on issues important to Georgia while delivering excellent customer service to our constituents,” Loeffler said.
Congressman Meadows, who has announced he will not seek re-election this year, said, “Paul has been an outstanding chief of staff for me and I heartily endorse his move to Senator Loeffler’s team. Senator Loeffler has already hit the ground running and Paul will help her become even more successful.”
Before going to work for Meadows in 2015, Fitzpatrick spent a year and a half at Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce in Arlington, Va., 20 years at Family Research Council, and three years at Xerox Corporation. Fitzpatrick earned a bachelor’s from Trinity College and an MBA from Marymount University.
