Many hardworking families know firsthand how expensive health care costs are these days. I believe the solution is not a government-run system that would get rid of employer-provided insurance, shutter our hospitals and raise taxes on the middle class.

Instead, we need to implement reforms that will lower health care costs, empower patients with more choice and increase access to quality care. As a member of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, I am committed to delivering real relief for all Americans.


Loeffler Urges HHS to Avoid Creating New Financial Hardships for Rural Hospitals

Loeffler, Colleagues Send Letter to FDA Urging Abortion Pill Classification as Public Health Hazard 

U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) joined 20 senators in urging Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Stephen Hahn to exercise the FDA’s authority to classify the abortion pill, Mifeprex (or mifepristone), as an “imminent hazard to the public health” that poses a “significant threat of danger,” a classification that would result in the removal of this pill from the U.S. Market.
