"A day after the new Army Cyber Command Headquarters were dedicated at Fort Gordon, U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler met with base leadership Friday and learned about the work being done at the installation.

"The stop was part of a tour in which the Georgia Republican is trying to visit each of the state’s military installations. So far, she has toured four of the nine installations, including Fort Stewart, Fort Benning and Robins Air Force Base.

"During her Fort Gordon visit, Loeffler met with commanding general of the Army Cyber Center and Fort Gordon Maj. Gen. Neil Hersey , Commander of Army Cyber Command Lt. Gen. Stephen Fogarty and Command Sgt. Maj. Delia Quintero. She got a tour of the base’s campus transformation, discussed military priorities and how the base is handling the COVID-19 pandemic."
